ALIANZA, DISMANTLING AND RECYCLING SERVICES
In the bay of the Port of Montevideo there are more than 50 ships in disuse, in conditions of being scrapped and/or recycled. They generate costs for their owners, occupy spaces that could be used for operational vessels and constitute a potential problem for the port, both from an ecological and traffic point of view.
The scrapping of a ship is a task that requires a great capacity of organization and efficiency, with strict safety standards.
